   The theme used to pull Inter from fonts.googleapis.com. That cost a
   third-party connection on the critical path, handed every visitor's IP to
   Google, and — measurably — shifted the layout: Lighthouse attributed 0.19
   CLS on the service pages to this exact font arriving late and reflowing the
   hero heading.

   These are the same files Google was serving (Inter v20 variable, weights
   400-800), fetched once and vendored. Inter is SIL Open Font Licence 1.1, so
   redistributing it with the theme is fine.

   SUBSETS

   Only latin and latin-ext are shipped. latin-ext is not optional here: every
   Maori macron the site sets — Waitakere, Mangere, Otahuhu, Otara — is a
   precomposed codepoint at U+0101 and up, which is outside the latin subset.
   Dropping it would render those place names in a fallback face.

   Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese are omitted. unicode-range means a browser
   only downloads the subset it actually needs, so their absence costs nothing
   at runtime and their presence would only add weight to the repository.

   Regenerate by re-requesting the Google CSS with a modern user agent and
   pulling the two URLs it names — see assets/fonts/README.md.
