Landscaping Auckland
Sculpting land to make it usable — patios, walkways, ponds and planting — backed by horticultural knowledge, not just a mower and a spade.
Full Scope
Landscaping takes both horticultural understanding and a sense of design — and it isn’t limited to plants. Sculpting the land itself to make it usable is just as much a part of the job.
Plant selection and layout matched to your soil, aspect and how much maintenance you actually want to do.
Levelling, base preparation and laying — the part that decides whether paving still sits flat in five years.
Sculpting land for water features, with drainage considered before anything is dug.
Paths and steps that make a section usable, especially on sloping Auckland properties.
Ground preparation, topsoil and turf or seed — done properly so the lawn establishes rather than struggles.
Reshaping landforms, terrain and elevation to make an awkward section work as outdoor living space.
Simple 4-Step Process
From a walk around the site to a finished space you actually use.
We walk the property with you, look at soil, aspect, drainage and access, then talk through what you want the space to do.
A plan and a clear written quote, with plant choices and materials explained so you know what you are approving.
Levelling, drainage and any paving or structural work first — the base decides the lifespan of everything above it.
Soft landscaping goes in last, the site is cleared, and you get aftercare advice for establishing the new planting.

Excellent service, clearly knowledge. I was particularly impressed with the consultation regarding wanting a large tree cut down very close to the house. Recommended against it due to long term house foundation issues when the roots start rotting. Demonstrated superior knowledge
I have engaged A One A Tree Care few times for tree removal at my residence. They consistently deliver excellent service at a reasonable price and leave my property immaculate upon completion. Their communication is exemplary, and the
Kes done good tree work and demolition. Great tidy work. Great communication
Common questions from Auckland property owners.
It depends entirely on scope — a planting refresh and a paved patio with drainage are different orders of magnitude. Ground conditions, access and materials all move the number. The on-site visit and quote are free, and the scope is written out so nothing appears later.
Yes. Landscaping takes both horticultural understanding and design judgement. We plan the layout and plant selection with you rather than handing you a catalogue.
That is the most common way we start. Once a tree or hedge is out, the ground usually needs levelling, topsoil and replanting to look finished. Doing both with one contractor avoids the gap between jobs.
Yes — patios, walkways, steps, ponds and water features, as well as reshaping terrain and elevation. Base preparation and drainage are done properly, because that is what determines whether the surface still sits flat years later.
That depends on soil, aspect and drainage, which is why we look at them before recommending anything. Plant selection matched to the site is the difference between planting that establishes and planting that struggles.
Yes. We have been providing landscaping services for 10 years and carry comprehensive public liability insurance for our customers’ peace of mind, with a documented job safety analysis on site.
